You go where your friends invite you
March 27, 2026
If you’d ever asked me where I would travel to, I wouldn’t for any reason have said Luxembourg - a small country that feels like a mix of France, Germany, and maybe a little bit of the Netherlands.
It feels rich, yet everyone complains about how expensive living there is. You can’t really do anything with coins, or even cash sometimes. Very confusing culture for a North African Yet the country has beautiful, beautiful nature! I haven’t really been to Switzerland or Norway to judge, but I haven’t seen anything like it before.
My friend lives there, so I decided to give the country a visit.
From Luxembourg (the city), we decided to go for a hike on the Mullerthal Trail Route. We had two buses to catch (I haven’t mentioned - public transport is FREE!!! I think it’s okay to pay extra for food if you’re commuting for free, right?). We caught both our buses to Waldbillig and then walked to the trail.

It was an unexpectedly long walk as we rushed to get to the trail. I’ll let the pictures do the rest.
